Fallen Officers

An officer was stabbed to death
by two inmates at a federal
prison in Central California on
June 21, 2008. Officer
Jose Rivera was taken to a
hospital with stab wounds Friday
afternoon and declared dead.

Yolo County Deputy Sheriff Tony
Diaz was killed in the line of
duty on June 15th. The
suspect in the shooting has been
taken into custody.
